Jenner Levely
Jenner Levely started the Flat Rock Candle Company 5 years ago when she acted on a childhood interest by researching and experimenting with scent and wax. This facination has quickly grown into a thriving small-town business located in Michigan's beautiful Central Upper Peninsula.
A native of Caro, Michigan in the Lower Peninsula (the thumb area), Jenner has come to love the Upper Peninsula and its laid back way of life. Jenner and Kelly, her husband of 9 years, enjoy being with kids and are leaders for the Delta County Challenge Club, a 4H club which challenges our youth ages 10 to 18 by teaching them to Kayak, rock climb, ice climb, winter camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities that requires basic knowledge of the outdoors and focuses on the teamwork concept. Jenner thrives on working with the kids and being in the great outdoors.
Along with hand pouring and slow cooling all the candles in her home studio, Jenner is constantly trying new scents and products to offer in her extensive line of candles. She has cleverly developed an entire line of Upper Peninsula candles, which have become wildly popular as they are dedicated to capturing the scents and essence of life in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Jenner prides herself on creating quality, hand-crafted candles - while also offering valued customers a wide variety of scents in many different sizes. Along with the regular menu of items, The Flat Rock Candle Co. offers custom orders for wedding receptions, family or class reunions, corporate Christmas gifts or any such gathering by personalizing the candle labels and creating specalized scents.
The Flat Rock Candle Company is committed to creating high-quality, "scent-sational" candle products. We use specially blended wax, the finest high-quality fragrance oils that are free from animal testing, and lead-free wicking, which reduces smoking and sooting, is virtually self-trimming, and offers stabilizing threads to ensure support.
